Background
In the Yoruba language of West Africa, Eparapo means 'to come together' , not as a suggestion but an invitation. We believe that this  encapsulates the ethos of our social enterprise in promoting collective action and collaboration.
Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Eparapo is an integrative space dedicated to worldbuilding through the exploration and cultivation of ideas around creative practices.
At Eparapo, we aim to encourage critical consideration of African/diasporic intellectual and cultural heritage from the standpoint of intersectionality. We achieve this by archiving the works of our griots, while also considering the perspectives of modern thinkers. We believe that this approach is crucial in promoting a deeper understanding of our cultural heritage and fostering a sense of inclusivity within our community.
